Ministries
Children represent the greatest opportunity to make a long-term impact in our world for Christ; which is why the Knotty Oak Baptist Church offers wonderful ministries to children.
Children’s Chapel
Each Sunday, the children of KOBC take part in Children's Chapel. The children are divided by grade: four years/Kindergarten (Beginner), first grade/second grade (Pre-Primary), third grade/fourth grade (Primary) and fifth grade/sixth grade (Junior). All groups meet under the direction of our young- adult staff. The Bible stories, snacks, crafts, and singing make Sunday Morning something children look forward to.
Vacation Bible School
One of the visions of the Knotty Oak Baptist Church is to reach the children of our community with the gospel of Christ. One of our ministries specifically formatted to meet this goal is our Vacation Bible School. Every August (usually the second full week) we host a weeklong program for children ages 3 -grade 12, culminating with our Funfair on Saturday and Parent’s Night on Sunday. KOBC has a long history of conducting excellent Vacation Bible Schools.
AWANA Clubs
Sunday night provides a wonderful opportunity for your children to be ministered to. The children of KOBC are dismissed to their respective AWANA clubs shortly after evening service begins. Led by our talented children’s workers, Sunday night children’s ministries are a blessing to the children of KOBC and help them to grow in the Lord.
